About Flower Foundation Retirement Homes
Flower Foundation Retirement Homes is a non-profit organisation which was established in 1963 and caters for the retirement needs of individuals 55 years and older.
With over 50 years’ experience in caring for and accommodating retiree’s, Flower Foundation offers a variety of accommodation and care options. Three types of care categories are available, independent living, assisted care and frail care. Flower Foundation also offers a specialised dementia care facility.
There are at present nine villages in the Flower Foundation portfolio and prospective residents will be able to find accommodation to meet their requirements at one of these villages from Witpoortjie in the West Rand, Silver Stream, Elm Park and Maxhaven in the greater Randburg area, Willowbrook in Sandton, Orchid Place, Pioneer House and Cosmos Care in the Central area to Kensington Gardens in Central Johannesburg.
The care offered to all residents covers a broad spectrum of physical, psychological and counselling support provided by trained staff members according to the resident’s needs.
Flower Foundation encourages all our residents to enjoy a social and active lifestyle. Social activities are arranged on a daily basis within the villages in order to generate social interaction amongst all the residents.
