About USB Executive Development
We develop and connect leaders through innovative and transformational learning experiences, which lead to the building of extensive networks and, in turn, give rise to positive change across the African continent and beyond.
USB-ED is based in South Africa (Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban) and USB-ED Botswana is based in Gaborone, although programmes are presented in various countries across Africa.
At USB-ED, we share in the rich heritage and academic rigour of both Stellenbosch University (SU) and the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB). The USB’s international standing and reputation is confirmed by the triple crown of international accreditations, AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Our business learning is world-class and provides leaders and managers with a solid theoretical underpinning with a strong focus on practical application. We work with leading facilitators, corporate partners and international business schools to offer the best in executive education. Our faculty members include USB academic staff, consultants and business practitioners, and visiting international experts. This diversity ensures a rich and personal learning experience and is the reason why participants from more than 13 African countries enrol for USB-ED programmes each year.

Services We Offer:
At USB-ED, we believe that empowered leaders bring about change. In order to facilitate this, we offer a range of leadership and management executive development programmes (short courses) throughout the year.
We offer programmes for individuals, called open programmes, which are open to the public for enrollment. Open programmes cater to individual managers, across all levels, who wish to further develop their management and leadership skills to make a real impact on their work environment and society.
In addition to this, we also offer customised programmes that cater for organisations that want to start with a blank page and design the learning interventions aligned with their organisation’s strategic needs and the individual’s development needs.
Whether through customised or open enrollment, we equip participants with the tools and skills needed to advance their careers through continual learning and development in a vivacious and meaningful educational experience. Programmes are presented face-to-face, online and through blended learning.
