The AAA School of Advertising might be the oldest advertising institution in South Africa, but it remains relevant to the current needs of the industry. Marketing strategies and advertising trends are continually evolving, as technology influences the way people communicate. However, by partnering closely with advertising agencies, design and communication companies, the AAA School has kept up with these changes and remains a globally recognised educational institution. All the academic tuition at the college incorporates the challenges and opportunities presented by digital technology and mobile media. It’s not surprising, therefore, that graduates from the AAA School are always in demand, as agencies know these talented young people are able to step into the job from day one. As a result, there are also countless AAA alumni currently working and prospering in the industry, in South Africa, and around the world.

Networking with industry experts

Students at AAA are constantly introduced to experts from the industry and are given the chance to work on real briefs from agencies and clients. This provides them with an invaluable networking opportunity, which means that many students are employed before they even graduate. The teaching approach at AAA effectively integrates theory with practical preparation and the consultation processes closely simulate the approaches practised in advertising agencies.

Most awarded advertising institution in South Africa

This year the AAA School once again demonstrated that it is one of the leading advertising colleges in the country. The college was awarded a collection of 13 trophies at the annual Loeries festival in Durban. These awards provide well-earned recognition for top students, and more importantly an invaluable showcase to attract employers after they graduate. AAA School is very proud of all the students who received awards, as well as the lecturers who were directly involved in guiding the projects to success. All AAA lecturers are respected academics and industry professionals who are able to deliver up-to-date, relevant teaching and mentoring.

About The AAA School of Advertising

It is possible to study for a degree, diploma or higher certificate as a full-time student.

There are also several short courses offered part-time.

All qualifications are:

  • IAA accredited
  • Accredited by the CHE (Council on Higher Education) and recorded on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
