About False Bay College
False Bay TVET College offers accredited vocational, occupational and skills programmes in a range of fields, designed in consultation with industry to meet the skills shortages of South Africa.
The College facilitated various modes of teaching and training delivery, including the further expansion of Part-Time and Distance Learning options for students and employed individuals looking to up-skill.
Our mission is to develop people by serving as a gateway to employment, small business development and higher education through the provision of accessible, relevant, quality training programmes as part of lifelong learning.
With five delivery sites in Fish Hoek, Mitchell’s Plain, Khayelitsha, Muizenberg and Westlake, False Bay TVET College provides accessible higher education programmes to suit career paths in Engineering, Business, Hospitality, Information Technology, Safety in Society, Education Studies, 2D Animation, Tourism and Boat Building.
Our Distance Learning campus offers Engineering Studies; Motors, Fitting/Turning and Electrical N1–N3, as well as a comprehensive list of Business study options; Business, Financial and Public Management N4-N6. New to the Distance Learning Curriculum is Hospitality & Catering Services and Educare, both National Certificate Programmes. The College also boasts a range of Part-Time study programmes and courses.
