PacinamixLEADERS IN JOB CREATION & SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT
At Pacinamax we consider proper supplier development and in its broader context, Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) as an asset that has never been tapped fully.
Furthermore, a cherished supplier development framework is the only way we can put integrity back into doing business and creating shared value chains that give rise to successful sustained black businesses that have the capacity to respond to increased customer responsiveness, as well as to enlarge their market share in the global market place.
As a 100% Black Female-owned business ourselves, this directive guided us in introducing an ESD blueprint under the guidelines of statutory requirements of current Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) codes by working with our global client McDonald’s to diversify their supply chain.
The Monhla Brothers, the farmers who supply McDonald’s South Africa with A-Grade homegrown potatoes are a palpable illustration of this directive. By increasing the capacity of suppliers to produce greater yields, this demonstrated and positioned McDonald’s SA as a progressive organisation that recognises that the result of nurturing collaborations to build strong supply chain synergies.
As Pacinamax we understand that this is the strategic value which improves the worth of support received from suppliers. This is paramount in underpinning supplier diversity – eliminating the supplier monopoly climate that has prevailed within our procurement cycles for decades.
